Our Jewelry Creation Process
PHASE 1: CONSULT & QUOTE
Every custom design and jewelry restyling begins with a conversation. During the consultation process, you will share your ideas and expectations with our jewelry designers. You will receive a complimentary quote based on the design, metal and gemstones of your choice.
PHASE 2: DRAWINGS & CAD
Our in-house design studio will work with you to create an initial design concept. We either create a sketch on paper or generate the design using a CAD program (computer aided jewelry design). These CAD drawings are multi-angled renderings of your piece. Designs can be modified during this process based on your feedback.
PHASE 3: WAX MODELS
Once the design has been approved, we create a wax model via our 3D printer. In some cases, the model is created by hand-cutting the wax. These wax models will be presented to approve or modify before the process moves forward. You will be able to see the design and have an understanding of how the finished product will look.
PHASE 4: APPROVE & CAST
Once the wax model is approved by you, it is now set for casting. This is the process in which the wax model is placed inside plaster, melted out of the mold to form a cavity and molten metal of your choice is poured into it to create your piece.
PHASE 5: FINISH & DETAIL
Diamonds or gemstones will be set during this step. Your crafted piece is then polished, resulting in a beautifully finished creation. We make sure the design is well executed and is as perfect as it can be
EXPECTED TIMELINE
Depending on the design, your personal creation normally takes anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks from consultation to completion. However, we can always accommodate rush orders and work with your schedule to make it convenient for you.
